The German Federal Network Agency said that EUR 2.1 billion was offered by the four bidders in the 103rd round of the 5G spectrum auction. In the 2 GHz frequency range, 1&1 bid the highest amount of up to EUR 114.9 million, followed by Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone with up to EUR 109.2 million each. Telefonica offered up to EUR 67 million for one block, the lowest amount in the round.
In the 3.6 GHz frequency range, Telekom offered the highest amount of up to EUR 50.8 million for one block, closely followed by 1&1 with up to EUR 49.3 million for one block. The highest amount bid by Telefonica was up to EUR 33.5 million, while Vodafone was up to EUR 32 million for multiple blocks.
